Super fast and easy install on my 2015 GTR. Love the product, definitely makes the car look 100x better.
Want to have your drls on at night along with the headlights, with the drl mod from @autoplugins you can still maintain the oem drls being on during the day time but also have them on along the headlights at night. Unfortunately from factory the drls auto shutting off when the head lights are switched on.
Also it is recommended to switch out the T10 bulb out of the headlights for the side marker section to a white led bulb so it will make the look complete. (There be side pictures of the original and led change for this)
Installation was a breeze and took me about 10 mins or less.
Definitely would remove the battery completely out so you can have plenty of room to work with inside the fuse box after you release it from its holding bracket. All the added wire can be tucked neatly into the fuse box when finished with the installation.
Instructions are provided, it’s simple and straight forward, it’s a neat clean little mod that helps for a better look, as well as very affordable. I would really recommend this drl mod to anyone !
I purchased the DRL mod kit for my 2017 GT-R and unfortunately, the kit I received did not work properly. However, I messaged Abi about it and he had me try a couple things to troubleshoot it, but we ultimately determined that the kit was faulty. He immediately sent me a new one, and the new one works perfectly. I've always wanted to do the DRL mod on my GT-R, but I knew that it was a little more complicated on the 2017+ models since they require a diode, so I was very happy to see this kit available. I'm very happy with my purchase and with the customer service that was provided.
